FT Bulgaria Open 2021
3-rd international competition hosted by SFTC
The competition will be held in Varshets town, which is situated at the foot of peak Todorini Kukli, on the northern slopes of mountain Stara Planina, in the southern part of the large Vurshetsa valley along the Botunia river. The Sofia Airport is 120 km away. In the city is the second largest natural park on the Balkan Peninsula. The weather is soft mountain climate with temperature between 10 – 20°C.
A vast area of shiny slopes , green meadows and a dim, and shady forest, where three very challenging and tricky courses will be designed by 50 targets each. It will be set up, to meet the requirements and tastes of all shooters. Three competitive days will give the chance to all participants to win the competition.

This competition will take place at 23 – 25 of September.

The Competition will be held near SPA Hotel ATA in Varshets town which will be our host. It is 4* Hotel with restaurant and a bar. All rooms include a private bathroom fitted with a bath or shower. Extras include bathrobes and slippers. Offering a spa center and seasonal outdoor pool.
The reservation in the hotel will be processed by the SPA Hotel ATA administration.

About the tax
The tax for this three day competition is 50€ (including Awards dinner).
If you want to bring some friend or family member with you (which will not shoot) on the Awards dinner this will cost 15€ per guest.
The bean bag fill will be available for free.
Team entry fee 10€*. /The team can contain from 3 up to 6 shooters/
Deadline for registration is 1th of September.

Visiting Bulgaria with air rifle
Bulgaria Airgun law:
The air rifles are treated as pneumatic weapon by the Bulgarian law.
For a rifles with a muzzle energy below 24J there is no requirements for a registration and a licence.
You can choose from all WFTF classes:
Categories are PCP and Springer (both limited to 12 ft/lbs or 16.3 joule)
Classes of entry are:
– Junior (not yet 21 on 1st of January)
– Overall (MAIN competition – includes juniors, men, ladies and veterans)
– Veteran (60 years or older on 1st of January)
Each country can entry with one team from 6 people. The best 3 result of each day will count for the awarding.
The awards are medals for first 3 places on each class which have at least one competitor and a cup for Overall 1st place.
